Caribbean Media Arts Center

The Caribbean Media Arts Center (CMAC) is a Macintosh/Intel based Multimedia lab and will provide Bluefields Students, and young professionals access to technology, information and new media skills. It is collaboration between Bluefields Indian Caribbean University (BICU) where the lab will be housed; A NYS private HS, donators of the computers; and the Bluefields Sound System, which will provide administrative resources. CMAC will provide classes in Video Production (Final Cut Pro) , Audio Production (Garage Band, Audacity, Logic) Graphic Design (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Web Design (PHP,CSS,Basic HTML). A donation of 26 Computers was awarded by the Ethical Fieldston Culture School in July 09, and we are working with the Wisconsin Nicaragua Partners who have offered to help facilitate the shipping.
